XML to ordered JSON tree

Inspect XML as an explicit JSON document tree that preserves element and mixed-content order.

How to use this tool

Paste one XML document with a single document element. Namespace prefixes must be declared.
Select Convert XML to JSON tree. Read the document, element, attributes and text nodes instead of assuming an application-specific object mapping.

Scope and limits

DTD declarations and custom entities are rejected. No external entity, schema, image or URL is fetched. This is not XSD validation or XML canonicalization.

Maximum 100,000 characters, 10,000 XML nodes/attributes and 40 element levels. The explicit JSON mapping adds wrapper levels and can encounter the JSON output format’s lower effective nesting/value limits.

Inputs start empty. Load example fills them only when you choose it; Reset clears the editor and output.

The attribute is an ordered attribute entry and Hello is a text child. SOAP, WSDL and RSS are treated as generic XML trees, not executed services or normalized feed models.
