SVG to PNG Converter
Rasterize a supported static SVG to PNG locally, with a scale control and transparent output. Unsafe or unsupported SVG content is rejected before preview.
When to use SVG to PNG
Create a fixed-size PNG from a vector drawing for applications that require raster images. Choose the pixel scale before conversion; PNG output preserves supported transparency.
How to convert
- Choose or drop one local SVG image. Review the detected dimensions and file size.
- Choose the raster scale and review the output pixel dimensions. PNG output keeps supported transparency; there is no quality slider to adjust.
- Select Convert to PNG. Review the actual output preview, dimensions and file size, then download it.
What changes in the output?
This is a deliberately restricted static SVG renderer. Basic paths, geometric shapes, text with locally available fonts and local gradients are supported. Scripts, linked images, use references, animation, stylesheets and unsupported CSS are rejected. Inline paint styles override presentation attributes regardless of attribute order. Text appearance depends on installed fonts. ViewBox-only drawings default to at most 1,024 pixels on the longest side; choose a scale for a larger output within the limits.
EXIF orientation is applied once to the pixels. Source metadata is not copied into the new file. Browser color conversion and an sRGB canvas may change embedded profile handling; this is not an archival color-preservation tool.
Limits, privacy and browser support
JPG, PNG and WebP use native browser decoders and encoders where an actual local probe succeeds. Unsupported encoders produce an error; a PNG fallback is never renamed as another format. Animated PNG and WebP are rejected by these static converters. Corrupted and unsupported variants can fail even when a filename looks correct.
The local service estimates processing memory and allows one job at a time. Very large dimensions or memory requirements are rejected before decoding. The estimate is not a measurement of peak browser memory. Encoding has a 30-second deadline and output is capped at 64 MiB. The worker, bitmap and canvas are released after each job. Preview and download URLs stay valid until replacement, reset or navigation, when they are revoked.
Your selected file and converted result stay in this browser. No automatic saving, background upload or remote conversion service is used.
