Image to PDF Converter
Create a one-page PDF from one local image. Choose A4, Letter or image-size pages, orientation and proportional fit without uploading the file.
When to use Image to PDF
Place a supported image on one PDF page for sharing or printing. Fit whole image preserves all edges and may add white borders. Fill page preserves proportions while cropping overflow at the page edges.
How to convert
- Choose or drop one local Image image. Review the detected dimensions and file size.
- Choose page size, orientation and fit. The image keeps its aspect ratio. No image quality setting is applied to this lossless PNG embedding.
- Select Convert to PDF. Review the actual output preview, dimensions and file size, then download it.
What changes in the output?
Supports JPG, PNG, static WebP, the first displayed GIF frame, supported uncompressed BMP and the validated static SVG subset. The image is oriented, normalized to PNG and embedded into a new single-page PDF. A4 and Letter use physical point dimensions; image-size mode uses 96 image pixels per inch. Auto orientation follows the image, while Portrait and Landscape select the page orientation. Transparency is displayed over the white page. One image only; multi-image assembly, editable text, OCR, PDF/A and original metadata preservation are not provided. The PDF generator loads locally only when this conversion runs.
EXIF orientation is applied once to the pixels. Source metadata is not copied into the new file. Browser color conversion and an sRGB canvas may change embedded profile handling; this is not an archival color-preservation tool.
PDF generation uses a local, lazily loaded pdf-lib 1.17.1 bundle. Library license · Bundled third-party notices. The page preview illustrates the chosen fit; it is not an embedded PDF viewer.
Limits, privacy and browser support
JPG, PNG and WebP use native browser decoders and encoders where an actual local probe succeeds. Unsupported encoders produce an error; a PNG fallback is never renamed as another format. Animated PNG and WebP are rejected by these static converters. Corrupted and unsupported variants can fail even when a filename looks correct.
The local service estimates processing memory and allows one job at a time. Very large dimensions or memory requirements are rejected before decoding. The estimate is not a measurement of peak browser memory. Encoding has a 30-second deadline and output is capped at 64 MiB. The worker, bitmap and canvas are released after each job. Preview and download URLs stay valid until replacement, reset or navigation, when they are revoked.
Your selected file and converted result stay in this browser. No automatic saving, background upload or remote conversion service is used.
