How to use this tool

Scope and limits

This page fixes the SQL standard literal context. Server dialects, connection modes, encodings and backslash behavior differ; use the combined workspace for its other documented literal variants. No query is executed.

Parameterized queries are the appropriate defense for values in database queries. NUL and invalid Unicode scalar text are rejected; maximum input is 100,000 characters and output 1,000,000 characters.
