SVG to JPG Converter

Rasterize a supported static SVG to JPEG locally, choosing scale, quality and the background for transparent regions.

Input

Or drag one local image file here. File contents determine the format.

No image selected.

Choose an SVG to see the output size.

Choose one image. Files stay in this browser.

One static image. Up to 16 MiB and 12 million pixels, with each side no longer than 16,384 pixels. No files are uploaded. SVG is limited to 256 KiB and 100,000 characters. Only validated static shapes, text and local gradients are rasterized. Inline !important, CSS transforms, scripts, external references, stylesheets and unsupported elements or declarations are rejected. Cancel stops the local job.

Output

No converted image yet.

When to use SVG to JPG

Create a JPEG from a supported vector drawing when the destination needs an opaque photographic format. Sharp edges and text may show JPEG artifacts.

How to convert

  1. Choose or drop one local SVG image. Review the detected dimensions and file size.
  2. Choose the raster scale and review the output pixel dimensions. Choose the output quality. Choose a background for transparent pixels; white is the default.
  3. Select Convert to JPG. Review the actual output preview, dimensions and file size, then download it.

What changes in the output?

SVG is validated and normalized before either preview or rasterization. Only the documented static subset is accepted. CSS !important, CSS transforms and invalid colors are rejected explicitly; presentation-attribute transforms remain supported. Transparent regions are composited on white or the chosen background. Source vectors are rasterized at the selected pixel scale; JPEG contains no editable vector paths.

EXIF orientation is applied once to the pixels. Source metadata is not copied into the new file. Browser color conversion and an sRGB canvas may change embedded profile handling; this is not an archival color-preservation tool.

Limits, privacy and browser support

JPG, PNG and WebP use native browser decoders and encoders where an actual local probe succeeds. Unsupported encoders produce an error; a PNG fallback is never renamed as another format. Animated PNG and WebP are rejected by these static converters. Corrupted and unsupported variants can fail even when a filename looks correct.

The local service estimates processing memory and allows one job at a time. Very large dimensions or memory requirements are rejected before decoding. The estimate is not a measurement of peak browser memory. Encoding has a 30-second deadline and output is capped at 64 MiB. The worker, bitmap and canvas are released after each job. Preview and download URLs stay valid until replacement, reset or navigation, when they are revoked.

Your selected file and converted result stay in this browser. No automatic saving, background upload or remote conversion service is used.
